Datalogics is celebrating an important milestone this year, our 50th anniversary. As President of a business that has lasted so long and endured so many highs and lows over the years, I am humbled by this accomplishment. I think of all the people that have been with the company for more than 30 years, the faces I see every day, the new hires and the folks who’ve come and gone. Everyone has left a mark on us and contributed to this accomplishment.
I am grateful to our customers who have trusted Datalogics enough to purchase our products. With year over year retention rates that exceed 90%, I would be remiss if I did not take this moment to say thank you. It is your faith in us that has allowed us to achieve 50 years.
Warren Buffet once said, “In the business world, the rear view mirror is always clearer than the windshield,” and I couldn’t agree more. During this special time, we think not only about this amazing accomplishment, but also about how we keep refreshing ourselves so that a future President of Datalogics can be planning a centennial celebration fifty years from now. That’s why we’ve been asking ourselves hard questions and challenging the status quo to ensure that we maintain a competitive edge. We are changing our look, our logos, and increasing our consideration of products – how they perform for our customers, and most importantly, ensure they retain relevancy.
