PDF to HTML with PDF Alchemist – Watch our Demo!

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say. That must mean that a video is worth even more, right?

We launched PDF Alchemist almost a year ago and have been working to refine our explanation of what it does and what it is. We have learned a great deal over the last year from talking with evaluators and customers about PDF Alchemist and today we have uploaded a video to help us explain it. You can find the video on the home page for PDF Alchemist or further on in this post.

Since we have determined that a video is worth more than a picture, take a few minutes to watch the video about PDF Alchemist and then let us know what you think! If you are interested in trying out PDF Alchemist,  you can sign up for an evaluation by going to the PDF Alchemist home page and filling out the evaluation form.

  1. Greetings
    The presentation looks good, thanks.
Currently we have a requirement to convert PDF to HTML and I have few questions about your library:
    1. Is there any SDK I could use from Java application? I see that you have command-line which is not very convenient way to work with form Java app.
    2. Is there a possiblility to embed all contents into a single html file?

    Thanks.

    1. Thanks for the feedback!
      1) PDF Alchemist does not currently have a Java interface, though we are tracking that as a possible enhancement. The premium version has a C++ API, so you would need to build a JNI to access it directly from Java.
      2) While it is not shown in the web demo, PDF Alchemist offers a -singleFile option to export HTML and CSS as a single file.

If you would like to take a closer look, we offer the free trial. We can also talk about your Java requirements once you’ve had a chance to work with the product directly.
